Save Our Food, Save Devon Farms
Open letter to Selaine Saxby, MP for North Devon.
In July, our North Devon MP, Selaine Saxby voted AGAINST protecting our Farmers and our rural communities. The Agricultural Bill lays out how farmers and food standards will be protected in future trade deals with the US and countries outside the EU. Selaine Saxby voted against amendments that will protect food and farming standards and stop our farmers from being undercut by cheap and sub-standard imported produce. Seleaine Saxby has proved time and again that she is not working in the interests of the community of North Devon, but the interests of the Tory party and those who stand to make the most money out of any future trade deals. Selaine Saxby has one more chance to protect the livelihoods of so many of her constituents as the Bill is debated again on 12th October. We have written to her urging her to finally support our farmers and protect our food standards. Please read the letter below and feel free to send your own letter, or copy ours, and email Selaine via [email protected]
