 I am a local GP and a member of SOHS and I work to support, improve and protect our local services. I would really welcome the opportunity to use my experience to help support health and social care in Devon.

I am a member of local environmental groups and one of my major interests is local planning. I have been campaigning against the government’s changes to centralise planning laws as I feel it is essential to keep local input maximal and ensure community needs are prioritised rather than developers interests.

I am a also a member of local public transport and cycling campaign groups and support optimising the various modes of transport to improve congestion and ensure cheap, convenient alternatives are available to local people and tourists I am a car user, motorbike rider, cyclist and walker and I believe the best solutions will optimise links for all types of transport so we can stay healthier and stay connected. One of my big passions is potholes which are so dangerous to road users and this is an area I would put top of my list to tackle.

​Tourism and local business are a priority and I believe that holidaying within the UK will be on the up and up in the future and our tourism businesses will flourish and am keen to support this. In addition I believe in shopping local, buying local produce and supporting the high streets which are more than just businesses, they are the heart of the local community and our identity.

​I hope you would consider giving me the opportunity to work in council and represent all of you and your concerns and needs. I have a lot of energy and drive and believe in the importance of listening and giving power to people’s voices.​
